Signed Thos Nevitt Bristol on recessed silvered seconds dial. With calendar aperture with phases of the moon in the arch and high water at Bristol key. The movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell. The superb case with twist columns to the hood with gilt corinthian capitals with blind fret above hood door surmounted by swan neck pediment. With more blind fret work underneath hood moulding, canted angles with carved relief work to trunk and base with typical Bristolian shaped trunk door and matching raised panel to plinth on shaped bracket feet.
